Zillar Barta Desk,Koraput,Odisha: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, accompanied by Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari, conducted an aerial survey of Koraput district to assess the situation following floods and damage caused by heavy rainfall triggered by a depression.
During his visit, Chief Minister Majhi inspected flood-affected areas and reviewed the extent of damage to infrastructure and local communities. He also visited Chandili Panchayat under Kotpad block, where he interacted with villagers affected by the floods.
Majhi assured residents that the state government would provide all possible financial assistance after a detailed assessment of the damage is completed. The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that relief measures reach affected people promptly.
The Odisha Chief Minister also visited relief shelters and inspected the quality of cooked food being served to displaced residents. The inspection focused on ensuring that people staying at relief centres receive adequate and hygienic food and other essential assistance.
The state administration continues to monitor the flood situation and relief operations in the affected areas as authorities assess the overall impact of the heavy rainfall.
