Zillar Barta Desk : India’s players have made notable gains in the latest ICC Men’s T20I rankings following the team’s recent performances against Afghanistan. The updated rankings have highlighted three significant Indian movers across the batting and bowling charts.
Abhishek Sharma has been one of the biggest beneficiaries. The explosive left-handed opener climbed to second place among T20I batters, moving ahead of Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan. Abhishek’s rise has further strengthened India’s presence near the top of the batting rankings.
Varun Chakravarthy also made an important move in the bowling rankings, breaking into the top five. His recent performances with the ball, including a disciplined spell against Afghanistan, have contributed to his rise.
Another major mover is Jasprit Bumrah, who has returned to the T20I top 10. His ranking improvement comes after his comeback to international T20 cricket and adds another Indian name to the elite group of T20I bowlers.
Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan remains at the top of the T20I batting rankings, keeping India firmly represented at the summit. Sanju Samson has also gained four places to reach 30th in the latest batting rankings.
