Zillar Barta Desk : West Bengal Urban Development Minister Agnimitra Paul attended the Silver Jubilee Celebration and 25th Annual General Meeting of the Confederation of West Bengal Trade Associations (CWBTA) at ITC Royal Bengal in Kolkata on September 26, 2026.
Established in 2001, CWBTA serves as an apex platform representing trade associations across West Bengal. Over the past 25 years, the organisation has brought together traders and business communities from across the state while representing their interests and facilitating dialogue with the government and other stakeholders.
Speaking on the occasion, Agnimitra Paul highlighted the importance of collaboration between the government, trade associations and the wider business community for strengthening West Bengal's trade and commerce ecosystem. The event also provided an opportunity for interaction with prominent trade leaders and members of the business fraternity.
The Silver Jubilee marked 25 years of CWBTA's efforts and engagement with the trading community. Discussions at the event focused on the opportunities and challenges facing trade, commerce and MSMEs in West Bengal.
Paul extended her warm congratulations to CWBTA on completing 25 years and conveyed her best wishes for the organisation's continued growth and service to the state's business community.
