Zillar Barta Desk,Colombo: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has reaffirmed India’s commitment to strengthening friendship and cooperation with Sri Lanka, describing the island nation as a close friend and emphasizing India’s readiness to stand by its neighbour during times of crisis.
Speaking in Colombo during his official visit to Sri Lanka, Singh highlighted the deep-rooted ties between the two countries and stressed the importance of peace, stability and cooperation in the region. He said India’s approach towards its neighbours is based on mutual respect, partnership and support rather than confrontation.
