Zillar Barta Desk, purulia : West Bengal  is set to receive a major boost to its railway infrastructure with the development of a new bypass railway line between Adra and Joychandi Pahar. The ₹272-crore project is expected to strengthen connectivity, improve freight movement and provide fresh momentum to the state’s industrial and economic growth.

The new railway bypass will help increase the capacity for goods transportation while reducing pressure on the existing railway network. By creating additional operational flexibility, the project is expected to facilitate smoother and more efficient movement of freight across the region.
